Flex Tech is seeking Level I, II, and III Voice & Data Technicians for commercial new construction and retrofit projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, pull, label, dress, and terminate structured cabling systems
- Work with:
- Cat 3
- Cat 5e
- Cat 6
- Cat 6A cabling
- Install and terminate:
- Workstation outlets (110, Panduit)
- Closet terminations (110, 66 block, Bix, Krone)
- Perform cable testing and basic documentation
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
- Assist with site surveys and cable pathway identification
Level-Based Expectations
Level I (Entry-Level)
- 0–1 year of experience (or willingness to learn)
- Assist with cable pulling and basic installations
- Learn industry standards and installation practices
Level II (Intermediate)
- 1–3+ years of structured cabling experience
- Perform terminations and basic testing independently
- Understand EIA/TIA standards
- Assist with mentoring junior technicians
Level III (Lead Technician)
- 3+ years of experience
- Lead crews and manage daily jobsite activities
- Perform advanced terminations, testing, and documentation
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades
- Assist with material planning and project execution
Required Qualifications
- Experience in structured cabling (level-dependent)
- Familiarity with commercial installation environments
- Ability to work in tight or confined spaces
- Ability to lift materials and climb ladders
- Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as required
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to DFW-area jobsites
- Ability to travel throughout the local market
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Fiber optic experience (a plus)
- Experience with cable testing and documentation
- Experience leading crews (Level III)
- Manufacturer or industry certifications (BICSI, etc.)
