Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and technically strong Service Account Manager / Project Manager / Estimator – Technology Systems to develop, estimate, sell, and manage low-voltage and technology system projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
This role focuses on Network Infrastructure, Access Control, Audio-Visual (AV), and Fire Alarm systems across commercial, industrial, institutional, and government environments.
Approximately 70% of leads are warm leads, and the successful candidate will be responsible for building the business, bidding work, and managing projects from initial opportunity through closeout. Typical projects range from $10,000 to $2MM, with an emphasis on service, retrofit, and small-to-mid-size technology projects.
Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Sales

Identify client technology needs and design code-compliant, scalable solutions

Estimate, design, and sell projects ranging from $10K to $1MM+
-
Prepare accurate and timely estimates using estimating software and vendor pricing tools
-
Develop professional proposals with clear scope and pricing
-
Negotiate pricing and contracts with clients and suppliers

Support business development and expand division growth
Project Management
-
Manage projects cradle-to-grave, including:

Scheduling
-
Labor planning
-
Procurement
-
Subcontractor coordination
-
Budget oversight
-

Track labor, materials, productivity, and project profitability
-
Maintain accurate documentation and budget setup
-
Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and performance standards
Technical Scope Oversight
Projects may include:

Structured cabling & network infrastructure

Access control & video surveillance
-
Audio-Visual (AV) systems
-
Fire Alarm & life safety systems

Develop and submit drawings, riser diagrams, device layouts, and calculations when required

Coordinate with AHJs to obtain plan approvals

Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and local code requirements
Client & Relationship Management

Maintain strong client relationships resulting in repeat business

Communicate effectively with clients, GCs, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and inspectors

Deliver projects on time and within budget while ensuring customer satisfaction
