Flex Tech is seeking Licensed Security & Access Control Technicians for commercial new construction and retrofit projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Our clients expect skilled, reliable technicians who consistently exceed expectations—and we reward those who rise to the challenge.

Key Responsibilities

Perform complete cable installation and device terminations

Install and terminate security devices including:

Electric strikes
-
Card readers
-
Magnetic locks
-
Motion detectors
-
-
Install, terminate, and test:
-
Access control systems
-
CCTV systems
-
Intrusion and security systems
-
-
Read and interpret blueprints and system drawings
-
Assist with system testing, service calls, and inspections
-
Perform system inspections and re-certifications on existing systems
-
Provide basic end-user instruction and customer interaction
-
Lead small to large crews on new installations as required

Maintain clean, organized, and safety-conscious jobsites
Required Qualifications
-
Current Texas Security / Low Voltage License (as required for the role)

6 months to 5 years of commercial installation experience

Experience with access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems

Ability to complete full cable installation and device terminations

Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation

Valid driver’s license
-
Reliable transportation to DFW-area jobsites

Ability to travel throughout the local market

Must pass a drug screen and background check

Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading or training technicians onsite

Service, inspection, or re-certification experience

Willingness to travel outside the DFW market (not required)
