Flex Tech is seeking Data Center Technicians to support new construction and retrofit projects in live data center environments throughout San Antonio, TX. Our clients rely on us to deliver skilled, detail-oriented technicians who can work safely and efficiently in high-availability facilities.

Whether you are an experienced data center technician or looking to continue building your skills, this role offers steady work, professional growth, and exposure to enterprise-level infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install data center racks, cabinets, and support infrastructure

  • Mount, rack, and stack servers and network switches

  • Install and manage large patching systems and cable management systems

  • Perform trunk cable installation including:

    • Pulling

    • Labeling

    • Dressing

    • Termination

  • Terminate Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling to servers and switches

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • Work safely in live data center environments

  • Use hand tools to complete installations accurately and efficiently

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safety-focused worksites

Required Qualifications

  • Experience pulling and terminating Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling in a live data center environment

  • Familiarity with data center standards and best practices

  • Ability to work in mission-critical environments

  • Strong attention to detail and cable management

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Reliable transportation to San Antonio-area jobsites

  • Ability to travel within the local market

  • Must pass a drug screen and background check

  • Commitment to safety and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience installing racks, cabinets, and trunk cabling

  • Experience working with servers, switches, and patch panels

  • Willingness to travel outside the San Antonio market (not required)
