Flex Tech is seeking Data Center Technicians to support new construction and retrofit projects in live data center environments throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Our clients rely on us to deliver skilled, detail-oriented technicians who can work safely and efficiently in high-availability facilities.

This role offers consistent work, professional growth, and exposure to enterprise-level data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Install data center racks, cabinets, and support infrastructure

• Mount, rack, and stack servers and network switches

• Install and manage large patching systems and cable management systems

• Perform trunk cable installation including:

  • Pulling

  • Labeling

  • Dressing

  • Termination

• Terminate Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling to servers and switches

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Work safely in live data center environments

• Use hand tools to complete installations accurately

• Create and maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

Required Qualifications

• Experience pulling and terminating Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling in a live data center environment

• Familiarity with data center installation standards and best practices

• Strong attention to detail and cable management

• Valid driver’s license

• Reliable transportation to DFW-area jobsites

• Ability to travel throughout the local market

• Must pass a drug screen and background check

• Strong commitment to safety and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience installing racks, cabinets, and trunk cabling

• Experience working with servers, switches, and patch panels

• Willingness to travel outside the DFW market (not required)
