Compensation: $120,000 -$150,000 (DOE)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Production & Warehouse Operations to lead and oversee all warehouse and production operations at our Dallas-area facility.
This role is responsible for managing production, mechanical maintenance, and facilities teams while ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The General Manager will report directly to executive leadership and will be accountable for:

This is an on-site leadership role with no travel required.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management

Lead, manage, and coach shop leadership, production associates, mechanics, and facilities staff

Develop structured training and professional development programs
-
Conduct performance reviews and set measurable goals

Foster collaboration between production, sales, recycling, and asset recovery teams
-
Build a high-performing, safety-focused culture
Operations Management
-
Oversee electrical equipment refurbishment and production workflows
-
Manage build-out and assembly lead times for switchgear and electrical panels
-
Supervise:

Metal fabrication

CNC machining

Powder coating

Sandblasting

Paint operations

Maintain strict quality control standards

Implement continuous improvement initiatives

Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and control systems
Business Unit Collaboration

Align warehouse operations with organizational strategy

Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and recycling teams

Support company-wide operational standards and growth initiatives
Asset & Fleet Management

Oversee warehouse facility maintenance and safety programs
-
Provide strategic direction for fleet and asset management
-
Coordinate maintenance of vehicles, forklifts, and generators
Financial Accountability

Manage warehouse P&L, including labor and material costs
-
Develop and maintain operating budgets
-
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
-
Track and report KPIs and financial performance metrics
Customer & Vendor Relations

Communicate directly with customers regarding specifications and timelines

Manage vendor partnerships and supplier relationships
-
Ensure customer satisfaction through quality and timely delivery
Technical Oversight

Provide subject-matter expertise in:

Transformers
-
Breakers
-
Electrical panels

Guide production decisions and resolve complex technical issues

Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices
Qualifications
Required
-
10+ years of experience in the commercial electrical industry

Proven leadership in warehouse or manufacturing operations

Strong P&L management experience
-
Deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control system operations

Experience managing cross-functional teams
-
Strong communication skills with customers and vendors

Experience with metal fabrication and CNC machining processes

Strong delegation and collaborative leadership style

Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
Preferred

Electrical equipment refurbishment or remanufacturing experience

Asset and fleet management background

Familiarity with switchgear and panel assembly

Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training
